Suzy Vadori’s Part Time Virtual Assistant Job Description

 

Position Overview

I’m looking for a self-driven assistant to be my right hand, and help me grow and drive my Writer Education business forward so that I can help as many writers as possible get their stories onto the page. This position will help me stay organized and on task as I create new content (both paid and free) to support my writing clients and potential customers. 

I’m looking for someone with an excellent eye for detail (can spot a typo a mile away) and who knows how to communicate both verbally (phone, zoom) and written (email, documents, posts, text etc.) in a professional, organized, and efficient way. Discretion and confidentiality are essential for this position.

This role is virtual and can be located anywhere within North America’s time zones. This is an hourly, part-time position that reports directly to me (Suzy Vadori, the CEO/Founder), while also working closely with other key members of my team. It involves working some evenings and weekends, and at times, responding to team members outside of traditional work hours during events that will be communicated in advance.

This is an independent contractor position, and you are responsible for your own office, equipment (computer, internet connection), and resources. This position will start with an average of 5-10 hours per week, with the opportunity to expand the role in the future as Suzy’s business grows.   

 

Duties and Responsibilities

The Virtual Assistant will support my business and team. You will:

  • Manage Suzy’s event and prospective client/ client schedules
  • Manage incoming email streams, responding or flagging for Suzy’s attention as required
  • Collaborate on content creation plan for Newsletters, Social Media
  • Manage posts on Suzy’s social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube)
  • Accept new members to and post in Suzy’s Free and Paid Facebook groups
  • Upload and schedule weekly newsletters to Kajabi (collaborating with Suzy for content)
  • Manage invoicing and payments from clients
  • Facebook Ads or knowledge of other online marketing tech an asset, but not required
  • Provide backup to Suzy during periodic Live online events (Zoom, Facebook Live), fielding questions from participants.
