During this group program, we'll be specifically addressing how to plan and write a nonfiction business or self-help book on a topic you're passionate about. In contrast, memoirs follow all the same rules as a fiction novel (except events happen to be true). Jessica had a LIGHBULB MOMENT about Show don't Tell.
I was constantly surprised by the little things I learned. I think one of the most surprising was probably the show, don’t tell portion because it was such a simple answer.
I thought it would be super hard to rework a lot of the “tell” places in my book, but it only took a few extra descriptive sentences here and there to fix a lot of those spots. This was something really daunting to me before that module but after completing the module I felt more confident.
